Well, to be honest, I would love to be a sharpshooter, but I am horribly clumsy and would probably shoot myself first.
Having said that, you might be wondering why I am suddenly talking about sharpshooting. Well, that is one of the major trademarks of the amazing heroine of the highly anticipated upcoming novel, Rebel of the Sands, and my mission for today is to make you all add the book to your TBR and preorder it ASAP!
Before we delve into more discussion, here's some details about the book!
Amani truly sounds terrific, doesn't she???
Amani's trademarks and reputation reminds us all that we too might have certain trademarks in the community we belong in. So as a promotion, Penguin Teen has come up with this wonderful idea of curating a list of things each of us are famous for! So today, let's take a look at yours truly's trademarks, both among my IRL friends and the blogging community!
It only takes the first meeting for me to start talking with someone as if I've known them for years. And I can be really talkative, so much so that, people get astonished when I am present in a place which is silent. I tend to ramble, and chatter about all sorts of random stuff, regardless of who is actually listening to me! :)
I have the memory of an elephant. I remember incidents and events from years ago - I just surprised my mum by recalling a TV series pilot which aired when I was 7 years old - and I am a directory of birthdays, important dates and even random memories. This quirk comes in handy often both to myself, and my scatterbrained best friend! :D
The Schwab Squad
Can I count myself as a squad, if I am only one person??? Well, whatever! :P It is no secret that I love Victoria Schwab's books, that her Vicious is my all time favourite book and that I can't sleep peacefully if I haven't tweeted something that related to her or her books. I can be the quite obsessive fangirl, I guess! :D
This is something my friends call me often because I am a collection of random and useless facts. What can I say, I just love fruitless research as a form of procrastination! :)
I tend to look into things deeply - whether it's a book I read, a movie I watch, or even something that's supposed to be pointless! One of my friends say that I "read between the lines" and another says that I look for the "bad in everything". Whatever it is, one thing is true, I can't let go of anything without analysing it thoroughly.
Whether it's a TV cartoon, or a movie - Pixar, Disney or Dreamworks - if it's animated, it has my stamp of approval! I find animation fascinating, and the simple, beautiful and captivating stories these production houses offer are my one true love! Pixar is my favourites out of them all, though my favourite animated movie would be Tangled.
But I don't stop with animation. I am a huge lover of movies, regardless of genre, decade and style. From black and white classics such as Casablanca and Citizen Kane, to the more recent super hero pictures, I watch everything, and I wouldn't miss a single award show or review either! In fact, I even wanted to be a film major at one point!
This is a nickname coined by my friends, as I can be too energetic and hyperactive at times! :D Nothing brings me down, as it's incredibly hard to make me angry or offended, so I am always little miss sunshine, and my energy level is 100% 24/7! :)
This is something I am actually proud of! Diversity matters a lot to me, being a diverse fangirl myself, so the fact that my rants and opinions get noticed make me super happy!!!
Everybody's Best Friend
I don't know how I came up to this point tbh! I used to be a messed up, weird and depressed loner once. And now people - both in real life and online - refer to me as this, and I can't help but be surprised. Oh life's mysteries.....
