Title : Long Way Home
Author : Katie McGarry
Release Date : January 31st 2017
Publisher : Harlequin Teen
Synopsis :
Seventeen-year-old Violet has always been expected to sit back and let the boys do all the saving.

It’s the code her father, a member of the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, raised her to live by. Yet when her dad is killed carrying out Terror business, Violet knows it’s up to her to do the saving. To protect herself, and her vulnerable younger brother, she needs to cut all ties with the club—including Chevy, the boy she’s known and loved her whole life.

But when a rival club comes after Violet, exposing old secrets and making new threats, she’s forced to question what she thought she knew about her father, the Reign of Terror, and what she thinks she wants. Which means re-evaluating everything: love, family, friends . . . and forgiveness.

Caught in the crosshairs between loyalty and freedom, Violet must decide whether old friends can be trusted—and if she’s strong enough to be the one person to save them all.

I've been reading Katie McGarry's books since her debut year of 2012. Every year, one book, but I never get tired of her love stories. Long Way Home - a.k.a Violet and Chevy's book was something that I've been waiting to read ever since I saw the undeniable chemistry between them in Nowhere But Here, and Katie McGarry, as always, didn't disappoint me with this long awaited story.

Violet and Chevy might have broken up, but the feelings hasn't died down. With Chevy's loyalty to the Terror, and Violet's reluctance to have to do anything with the club is keeping them apart even when they both obviously love each other. Things get more complicated when the rival gang Riot gets involved, when the root of Chevy's beliefs and loyalty is shaken up, and Violet's complex relationship with the club is put through the ultimate test, and Long Way Home is the story of how Violet and Chevy stay strong throughout it all, together.

I absolutely adored Long Way Home. Like I said before, I've been waiting for Violet and Chevy's book for a long time, as I've been shipping these two since the first book, and their romance was as good as I wanted it to be! Though they can't obviously beat my favourite sweethearts, Razor and Breanna, Violet and Chevy obviously have a special spot in my heart. Their chemistry was scorching, their divided sentiments regarding the Terror creating the ambiguity in their relationship and the way both of them were the rock to each other at all times was truly beautiful.

I've always liked the relationships and dynamics of this series, and it was the best in this book. My favourite is probably the tricky yet beautiful relationship between Eli and Violet. I also loved the appearance of all my fav characters, especially Razor!!! Speaking of, he almost made me cry in this one. I badly want a Breanna and Razor novella now!!!

Overall, Long Way Home was so good! All Thunder Road fans, go make sure you read this asap! And if you haven't read the series, what are you even doing??? Go check out the series, because this is hands down one of the best YA romance series ever, period! Here's to waiting to my next autobuy Katie McGarry book! :D
