More characters from A Spark of White Fire

We're back again with more characters from A Spark of White Fire! I introduced you to the main three characters from the book last week, and today it's time to take a look at three more cinnamon rolls who are not only great secondary characters, but also three precious people you'll definitely love in the book!

Don't forget to check out part 1 of the character reveal!

P.S. - I have typed the descriptions next to the character cards for those who need it.

Bear

Mahabharata Counterpart : Bhima

Abra, known to everyone by his nickname Bear, is the younger brother of Esmae and Alexi. He has a big temper, an even bigger heart, and tends to do what he believes is right instead of what everyone else tells him is right.

Sybilla

Mahabharata inspiration : Dushala

Sybilla is a young, ferocious warrior. Second in command of Max's Hundred and One, she's hungry for battle and determined to win. There's deep hurt in her past that mirrors Esmae's own, which could give them some common ground to stand on.

Rama

Mahabharata Counterpart : None

Rama is something of a surprise. And I hope to keep him that way until you read the book! The third child of the king of Wychstar, he's Esmae's best friend and she is almost the only person in the world he'll shake off his compulsive laziness for.

Trust me, you'll love all of these precious cinnamon rolls. Also, don't forget to preorder the book and get your preorder prizes!

Title : A Spark of White Fire
Author : Sangu Mandanna
Publisher : Sky Pony Press
Release Date : September 11th 2018
Synopsis :

In a universe of capricious gods, dark moons, and kingdoms built on the backs of spaceships, a cursed queen sends her infant daughter away, a jealous uncle steals the throne of Kali from his nephew, and an exiled prince vows to take his crown back.

Raised alone and far away from her home on Kali, Esmae longs to return to her family. When the King of Wychstar offers to gift the unbeatable, sentient warship Titania to a warrior that can win his competition, she sees her way home: she’ll enter the competition, reveal her true identity to the world, and help her famous brother win back the crown of Kali.

It’s a great plan. Until it falls apart.

Inspired by the Mahabharata and other ancient Indian stories, A Spark of White Fire is a lush, sweeping space opera about family, curses, and the endless battle between jealousy and love.
