I paid a tribute to my favourite leading ladies of YA contemporary on Women's Day.

I talked about controversial and dark concepts in books.Which I love btw.

I asked a question that has been in mind for some time.Would we actually love our fictional boyfriends if they existed in real life?

In addition to that, author Therese Gilardi stopped by to talk about places and settings in YA fiction.

Bookish and blogging community news.

1.Queen of Shadows has a cover! There are two versions for it,but I love the one with the icy blue background more. However, the cover is quite great and I love how badass Celaena looks.

2.Kayla @ The Thousand Lives and Veronica @ The Talking Bookworm  hosted the Contemporary Conversations this month.I am sad that I couldn't read as much as I wanted, but still I had great fun.

3.#VeryRealisticYA. I don't actually know how or who started it as I was not actually active in twitter recently, but the tweets are hilarious! Here are some of my favourites.

What's hot in the world and internet

1.ICC World Cup happened and Australia took home the trophy as expected.I was a bit disappointed with my country though,as their loss against South Africa was actually a bit embarassing:)

2.Fast and Furious 7 is in theaters!I am quite excited to see the movie, and I am also thrilled that Jason Statham is returning after his cameo in the last movie.I love that guy:)

Personally my March

Now we come to the most interesting part:)

1.If you knew me before I created Chasing Faerytales, you would have known that I sat my O/level examinations last December. For those who don't know,it's a public exam every Sri Lankan student has to sit for by the age of 16.And I just got my results a few days before, and I've got As in all nine subjects and became the topper of my school!I am kinda overwhelmed with the news, and I was literally dancing with joy when I heard it.

2.I went camping with my friends for a few days.It was a school trip and we went out of town to a place with no wifi and no electronic devices. But we had so much fun and I think I can laugh about the stupid things we did there throughout my life:)

3.I became sick:(I was terribly sick for a whole week during the latter part of the month. It was terrible, and I hated the feeling. But I am feeling quite better now,and I am ready to be back in action.

4.I had a marathon of Martin Scorsese movies.I am a huge fan of the man,and his movies are terrific. My personal favourite is probably Goodfellas.

5.I started watching Ellen Degeneres videos, and never stopped:)I mean, that woman is a genius, and watching her speak is addictive!I've always been a great fan,and I just renewed my love for her humour and shows.

In addition to that,I also want to say that I am going to start my Advanced Level on the 18th of May.I've selected Literature as my subject, and I am quite excited to start school.

So there you go,that's my March.
How did yours go?
